Dual Citizenship
- Regaining Kenya Citizenship
For Kenyans born either in Kenya or abroad before 27th August 1987 and who acquired other nationalities BEFORE 27th August, 2010

           Requirements
- Application form duly filled – Form 5
- 2 (two) copies of Kenyan passport (Biodata page only)
- 2 (two) copies of Kenyan national ID (both sides)
- 2 (two) copies of valid passport of your other nationality (Biodata page only)
- 2 (two) copies of Naturalization Certificate of your other nationality
- A copy of your Birth Certificate
- Incase of name change due to marriage, please attach a copy of marriage certificate
- 2 (two) passport size pictures (Note: Most current picture taken within the last one month)
- A Prepaid, self-addressed, FedEx, UPS, United States Postal Services (USPS) Express overnight or Priority mail with delivery confirmation return envelope must be submitted with all applications.
When completed, the application should be sent to:-

- Declaring Dual Citizenship
- For Kenyans above 18 years of age who are also nationals of other foreign countries (acquired other nationalities AFTER 27th August, 2010)
- A dual citizen is required to disclose their other citizenship within three months of becoming dual citizen.

- 2 (two) copies of Kenyan passport (Biodata page only)
- 2 (two) copies of Kenyan national ID (both sides)
- 2 (two) copies of valid passport of your other nationality (Biodata page only)
- 2 (two) copies of Naturalization Certificate of your other nationality
- A copy of your Birth Certificate

Incomplete applications will not be taken into consideration. In order to ensure that your application is processed, it is your responsibility to make sure that it is complete and that all required supporting documents are presented or send to the Consulate General of Kenya in Los Angeles.
